These are groundbreaking times for HR technology. The functions that were once solely performed in, say, Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools have exploded into full-service suites of programs that are powered by AI and can be used on mobile phones and tablets. And nearly all of these new tools gather and analyze people data from multiple sources inside and outside of the organization to help give HR and the executives they report to the information they need to make informed decisions for the present and the future. To help shed some light on how today’s HR tech evolution became an HR tech revolution, Paylocity’s PCTY Talks: HR, People and Culture Podcast host Shari Simpson interviewed Phil Albinus, HRE’s HR technology editor, during this year’s HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas.
