David Rodriguez, Marriott’s global chief HR officer, was named 2019 HR Executive of the Year and recently accepted his award during a ceremony at Boston University.

Honored for his leadership through a swift merger with Starwood Hotels among other accomplishments, Rodriguez oversees more than 700,000 employees, keeping them united around a culture of opportunity, community and purpose.
