HR Executive and the HR Tech Conference have named Workday Wellness as one of the year’s Top HR Products. Selected alongside 11 other solutions, Workday Wellness was awarded for its innovative approach at the intersection of human resources and technology.
What it is
Workday Wellness is an AI-powered solution that connects employers to a curated ecosystem of leading wellness providers to gain insights into which benefits employees want and use. The platform enables organizations to easily improve their programs by adding new offerings and removing friction from the employee journey, helping them discover and engage with benefits that support their holistic wellbeing. Embedding partner solutions directly into the platform with a powerful global API framework creates a seamless connection between employers and the broader wellness ecosystem—empowering healthier decisions, boosting engagement and driving stronger outcomes across the workforce.
Why we liked it
Workday Wellness is an AI‑powered enhancement to benefits administration that helps organizations design and deliver more personalized employee wellness programs. Drawing on data from the Workday HCM platform, it analyzes program usage, employee sentiment, utilization and claims data to recommend which wellness offerings will resonate most with different employee segments. Workday Wellness can also connect employers to key benefits providers (e.g., The Hartford, Guardian and others) to streamline offerings matching actual employee demand and to provide employers with a comprehensive view of all benefit programs. By shifting wellness strategy from one-size-fits-all to data-informed personalization, Workday Wellness addresses the long‑standing challenge of underused benefits or missing benefits that employees desire. We liked the idea of helping organizations better manage their benefits environment, including the complexity of interfaces between benefits providers and the HR system of record.
