HR’s Rising Stars 

These are professionals near the top of their organization’s human resource function who have demonstrated leadership, the ability to successfully launch significant HR initiatives and programs, and the ability to tackle major HR-related challenges.

Candidates must be in a senior HR executive role, and have between 3-15 years of experience and have been with their current organization for at least a year.

HR's Rising Stars Nomination Form

Nominees must be up-and-coming stars in the profession who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership skills and an ability to tackle difficult business challenges while enhancing the role of the HR function.

  • Nomination deadline: Friday, June 6, 2025
  • Nominees/candidates must:
    • Head a major HR discipline or be the second-highest-ranked HR executive at the organization
    • Have 3-15 years of experience in HR or a related field
    • Have been in their current role at their current organization for at least one year
    • Work at an organization with at least 500 employees
    Nominators must be:
    • The senior-most HR executive for their organizations or operating companies/units;
    • Senior executives and officers of the organization;
    • Consultants and representatives with supplier organizations (must submit a signed endorsement from the candidate's employer); or
    • Candidates themselves (must submit a letter of recommendation from their supervisor).
  • All nominees must head a major HR discipline or be the second-highest-ranked HR executive at an organization with at least 500 employees; have 3-15 years of experience in HR or a related field, and have been in their current role at their current organization for at least one year.
  • Tell us below about this candidate’s three most successful accomplishments in the past 12-18 months. In addition to details about the project itself, judges would like to learn how the nominee demonstrated leadership, initiative and results-oriented drive to further the organization’s goals through this work. The strongest applications include data and other details about how each accomplishment impacted a particular goal.
