The final 11 start-ups—among 33 total—presented Wednesday afternoon at the 2021 HR Technology Conference & Exposition Pitchfest competition, contending for the $25,000 grand prize.

The two finalists that advanced were Sciolytix, a sales performance predictor platform that puts candidates through 3-D realistic training scenarios, and WorqDrive, an internal employee mobility platform solution to help retain top talent.

The judges for this round were Mike Smith, CEO of Randstad Sourceright, which sponsors the Pitchfest competition; Emanuel Cotronakis, executive vice president at LRP Media Group; and Tim Sackett, president at HRU Technical Resources.

Four other startups were chosen to advance during earlier rounds on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. All six will compete Thursday for the grand prize, which will also include booth space at next year’s conference. The second-place finisher will win $5,000.

The final round begins at 10 a.m. in the Pitchfest Theater.
