Human Resource Executive® is a national and regional award winner in the 2020 Azbee Awards of Excellence–earning gold, silver and bronze awards across several categories.

Sponsored by the American Society of Business Publication Editors, the annual Azbee Awards honor the best in business-to-business media, recognizing outstanding work by B2B, trade, association and professional publications.

Editors at HRE earned national recognition in two categories: a silver award for trade show coverage for their work at the HR Technology Conference & Exposition® and an honorable mention in the Website of the Year category for HRExecutive.com.

Coverage of the conference also earned a regional gold award in the mid-Atlantic. Content included nearly 30 stories, 11 videos and other bonus coverage throughout the four-day event last year in Las Vegas.

In addition, the team earned a regional silver in original research for its 2019 Top HR Products: Moving HR Forward and two regional bronze awards.

One bronze recognized a general interest feature story about 2019 HR Executive of the Year David Rodriguez, CHRO of Marriott, written by former staffer Andrew R. McIlvaine. The other went to the HRE team, led by benefits editor Kathryn Mayer, in the single topic coverage category for news and analysis of the employee benefits industry–including stories about the rise of student loan benefits and paid family leave benefits.
