A tool for creating AI-powered images and videos to help candidates understand job roles has earned the prestigious Excellence in HR Tech Innovation award at the 2025 HR Tech conference in Las Vegas.
This year, over 120 established and emerging HR tech vendors entered the annual Top HR Products competition, hosted by the HR Tech conference and HR Executive. Twelve were chosen as winners, with a single prize given to the winner with the most innovative tool—in 2025, that is Immersive Job Previews by Paradox.
Why Immersive Job Previews by Paradox?
According to Top HR Products judges, Immersive Job Previews by Paradox stands out by offering recruiters the ability to create polished, on-brand videos in hours, giving candidates a deeper understanding of jobs before they apply.

The tool impressed the judging panel with its ability to tackle persistent HR challenges, particularly for high-turnover roles where candidates may lack understanding of how the role connects to the company’s mission and business objectives.
These challenges include limited resources for producing recruitment media, unclear role expectations that lead to misaligned hires and high early turnover rates. By automating the creation of realistic, AI-generated job videos and simulations based on real employee experiences, Immersive Job Previews directly addresses these issues. The “Immersive Q&A” feature further engages candidates by letting them interact with a simulated version of the job, providing transparency that traditional job descriptions lack.

This enhanced visibility leads to better-aligned candidates who are more likely to stay, reducing early turnover and improving hiring quality. Research supports the product’s potential for significant impact: According to a 2024 Gallup report, strengthening the connection between a worker’s role and the organization’s mission can reduce turnover by 32% and boost productivity by 15%.
From ‘transactional recruiting to transformative hiring’
The judges recognized this solution as a strategic asset that enhances hiring outcomes while simplifying recruitment processes, strengthening employer branding and helping recruiters make more efficient use of their time. Deloitte researchers have found that recruiting is fast becoming a digital-first experience, with candidates expecting mobile convenience. Researchers say tools like AI and video are increasingly meeting those expectations.
There is evidence that major players in the HR tech sector also recognize the need to prioritize the recruiting experience. In late August, after the Top HR Products award judging had concluded, Workday announced a definitive agreement to acquire Paradox. In a release, Gerrit Kazmaier, Workday’s president of product and technology, said the move will improve hiring by replacing outdated processes with more engaging candidate experiences. He said his shift will help organizations move from “transactional recruiting to transformative hiring.”
By automating high-quality video production that’s typically out of reach due to cost or complexity, Immersive Job Previews empowers talent teams to deliver engaging storytelling without external support. This scalability is especially valuable for high-volume or geographically distributed hiring across multiple roles and locations.
Longtime Top Products judge Steve Boese said that the best HR technologies are those that help HR leaders address current and future needs. “These solutions enable HR to be both proactive and strategic, helping them to solve real challenges and empower their teams in the process,” he said. “This is exactly the type of innovation this award was created to celebrate.”
