Valoir’s 2022 Employee Experience Survey found that while the average employee is spending more than 3.5 hours a day in online meetings, many still feel disconnected: 1/3 of remote workers believe they’re missing out on team meetings or conversations, and even more believe they’re missing critical opportunities to connect with managers. Onsite workers agree, with 1/3 believing they get more opportunities because of more face time with the boss. The solution is not more video meetings but new collaboration strategies that reflect the evolving needs and dynamics of today’s workforce.
