Why we like it: The weakest link in any system is often a manual process, and many HR teams still handle time-off requests manually. We were impressed by Time-Off Requests, featuring GONE, which uses automated decision-making to balance employee requests, company policies, scheduling conditions and other customizable rules. We also appreciated that HR teams can use analytics to proactively manage their PTO liability, helping to prevent workforce gaps. Although this functionality is not available as a stand-alone product and is exclusive to Paycom clients, we recognize that this limitation ensures employers benefit from a true single database, eliminating the need to integrate disparate systems.
