Kathryn Mayer, benefits editor for Human Resource Executive and conference chair of the Health & Benefits Leadership Conference, recently joined the regular guest list on GrokkerTV, a web show produced by wellbeing brand Grokker.
Grokker was founded in 2012 as an on-demand health engagement solution by entrepreneur Lorna Borenstein, who was named a Top 100 HR Tech Influencer this year by Human Resource Executive.
The company launched GrokkerTV this fall with twice-monthly 30-minute episodes featuring Borenstein in conversation with CEOs, thought leaders, authors, analysts and others. Produced in-house, the company promotes the show as a tool to present leaders with “cutting-edge perspectives and provocative ideas to stay one step ahead of workplace culture and engagement developments.”
On each episode, Mayer discusses benefits topics and trends during a segment titled The Takeaway.
Previous topics during the segment have included the importance of financial wellness in the workplace, the key to a successful open-enrollment season and the rising cost of employee healthcare. Upcoming topics are five trends benefits leaders and executives should know about heading into 2020 and ROI vs. VOI in workplace wellness programs.
