Recent Bersin research shows a direct relationship between organizational design and a company’s ability to prepare and scale for the future. Traditional approaches to organizational design, usually done around job roles and reporting structures, are holding companies back and in some cases, exacerbating current and future talent challenges. In this session, Josh Bersin and Kathi Enderes will discuss highlights from their recent research, along with the design practices that have biggest impact. According to Bersin, “ “The big ‘aha’ of this research is that job and organization design is now one of the biggest root causes for the great resignation going on today…companies who do this [organizational design] well are hiring people faster, driving higher retention, and transforming their businesses more quickly.”
The session will segue to an interactive conversation with several HR executives who will share their experiences with changing up traditional organizational design and the benefits they’ve seen.
