Call it the AI dynamic duo.
Consulting giant EY and tech titan IBM are striking out together to deliver artificial intelligence and automation to HR through the EY.ai Workforce, which launched last week and is part of EY's $1.4 billion investment in its newly created EY.ai platform. EY.ai Workforce, powered by IBM's AI technology watsonx Orchestrate, is designed to help HR employees streamline their work, leveraging artificial intelligence, automation and natural language to create job descriptions or pull together payroll reports.

However, only in the past year, with the advent of ChatGPT and other forms of generative AI, has this shift become a fevered pitch among HR leaders.
