According to a new Gallagher report, large best-in-class employers (1,000+ full-time employees) believe that investing in their workforce is good for business. They are 57% more likely than other large employers to spend $15,000 or more in employer-paid benefits per eligible employee per year. They also reduce healthcare cost shifting and target waste in benefits spending. As such, they were 50% less likely than their peers to have increased cost sharing in 2019.
