Improving Talent Sourcing

At the HR Tech Conference last month, Oleeo, a talent-acquisition-technology provider, announced new prescriptive recommendations to its event management, CRM and ATS products. The customized algorithms are designed to allow for high-volume automation and provide users with qualified, quality candidate recommendations for large-scale hiring events.

Also included in the update is a faster resume-screening process.

Fill in the Blank on the Go

First Advantage, the background check and screening company, unveiled its Profile Advantage at HR Tech. The background-screening solution allows job candidates to submit information from their mobile devices, which the company says can increase completion rates.

The tool can integrate with existing ATS, HRMS and other talent-management solutions and is available on mobile and desktop devices in 22 languages.

Insights Built for Leaders

HR-management-software provider ADP recently released Executive and Manager Insights. The tool provides business leaders with actionable workforce insights in real time. Using AI, user patterns are collected and feedback is delivered for each specific insight to help refine and personalize insights over time.

The solution analyzes data to highlight meaningful trends and patterns, such as which departments have the highest amount of overtime or the locations with the greatest turnover. Other information includes benchmarking insights that provide a competitive context, customizable insight notifications and location-specific notifications that appear as leaders travel to different sites.

Making a Match

Talent-selection-platform provider OutMatch announced upgrades to OutMatch 2.0, designed to improve on its original candidate assessment. Some of the key changes include a reduced time for assessment completion, fewer “social-desirability” questions (instead of candidates searching for the “right” answer, they’ll be encouraged to answer honestly) and a redesigned user interface.

The company says the upgrades were designed to optimize the candidate experience. OutMatch validated the upgrades with a user survey and found that 88 percent of candidates felt more engaged taking the new assessment, 74 percent said it made them think more favorably of the employer and 63 percent said they preferred it over a traditional assessment.

Easing Executives into their Roles

Global career and talent-development solution Right Management, a part of ManpowerGroup, released E•Series Executive Transition Services, designed to provide new executives with comprehensive job-transition support. Right Management launched this solution to help prepare executives to lead in the digital age.

Using the E•Series Executive Transition Services, each leader is matched to highly credentialed coaches with industry-relevant global business experience and leadership-development expertise. Executives also benefit from assessment capabilities.
