How this veteran CHRO is turning his focus to AI ‘for the common good’: The Allen Institute for AI recently announced Tim Mulligan as its first CHRO. The HR veteran says he is eager to work with the company’s AI research team to use AI to improve its own internal HR practices. “That really excites me. What World Mental Health Day means to these top HR leaders: Executives at Marriott, UpWork and other organizations marked the day by speaking up about their own needs and those of their workforces. Employees are struggling with burnout and other issues and they are voting with their feet: a record 4.3 million Americans quit their jobs in August, according to a recent survey. It found that nearly 2.9% of the workforce quit in August, up from 2.7% in July. Read more here.
