HR Festival Asia: An Exclusive Platform for All-New Research

HR Festival Asia is set to unveil some of the latest and most exciting research into human capital trends for now and the future.

For a start, renowned industry analyst and plenary speaker, Josh Bersin, will unveil a comprehensive study of all the worldwide markets for HR technology. Based on research undertaken throughout 2018, The HR Technology Market 2019 report will detail the size and recent growth of the market, among other key trends. It will also provide in-depth analysis of some of the fastest-growing technologies in the HR space.

Valued at over $1,300, the complete report represents a vital piece of business intelligence for any organization or HR leader looking to make full use of the advances in workplace technology.

It is available free for all registered delegates to the HR Festival Asia conference in 2019.

Bersin’s report will delve into the global outlook for HR Technology–but Festival attendees can also look forward to a region-specific study that will explore of the relationship that HR professionals and leaders in the Asia-Pacific have with technology.

The State of HR and Technology in Asia-Pacific

Philippa Penfold, a HR veteran and Chairperson of HRM Asia’s Advisory Committee, will use her session in the Smart Workforce & Innovation stream to provide a sneak preview of findings from the The State of HR and Tech in Asia-Pacific, an ongoing research survey specifically catered to the region’s fast-growing markets.

Penfold will be presenting an analysis of results and comparing them to best-practice frameworks and literature from global HR technology thought leaders.

As she notes, “Now more than ever, it’s clear that HR and technology need to work together to integrate the human and technology dimensions, to create a human workplace that takes advantage of new age technology.”

Sierra-Cedar HR Systems Survey

Also making an appearance at HR Festival Asia is the Sierra-Cedar 2018-2019 HR Systems Survey. Stacey Harris, the Vice President of Research and Analytics at Sierra-Cedar, will be speaking at the event’s HR Tech stream about the survey–which involved 1,636 organizations, including 577 global organizations, and 265 non-US HQ international organizations.

The survey is the most comprehensive survey in the industry and aims to provide no shortage of insights about the vendor landscape, emerging technologies and innovations (as well as their integration and implementation), and everything else you need to know about HR systems in 2019.

Preliminary findings have already indicated that only 32 percent of Asia-Pacific organizations are doing some form of HR analytics.

Interestingly, the survey results also suggest that organizations in the region are more likely to use HR technology to inform their business strategy, than their counterparts elsewhere–along with being 20 percent likely to use mobile HR technology.

The research has also identified the key HR technology trends for HR and business leaders to take note of. For instance, the HRMS market is reimagining itself, focusing on enterprise platforms, partnerships, data layers and integrations.

The final report will be available for download during the event.

The first-ever HR Festival Asia, brought to you by the combined experience of HR Technology Conference & Exposition (US) and HR Summit (Asia), will descend upon Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on May 8 and 9. It is slated to be Asia-Pacific’s biggest HR and technology conference, boasting six dedicated conference streams and a packed Expo.
